Drawing inspiration from their name, By All Means Necessary is making music on their own terms.
Blending multiple influences including hard rock, metal, punk, and grunge, all four band members have successfully fused their diverse and unique musical backgrounds to create a truly memorable listening experience. Having established themselves as one of the fastest rising bands in the country vocalist Matt Diehm expounds on BAMN’s underlying message: “Everyone has the power within themselves to make and create change, and every step is a building block for the future.”
Upset by the “pay to play” presale ticket structure of Hollywood, BAMN started their own nightclub promotion called Amplify. This allowed the band to showcase on a weekly basis while learning the lessons of togetherness, diligence and hard work. “Handling all the aspects of running a nightclub including booking, promotions, audio and light production, merchandise, and managing operations was a lot for the four of us to handle. But, the payoff was in reaching a new audience every week and making connections that we still have today,” says Chris.
Looking to promote their new CD, “Left Out In The Open”, BAMN took their show across the US, playing over 100 concerts in 37 states. As tales of their captivating stage show spread across websites such as YouTube, MySpace, and Facebook, attendance grew with each show. Building a national buzz gave their lead single “I Was Wrong” momentum as they received airplay at radio stations across the country. “Looking back, Amplify helped prepare us for the rigors of touring nationally,” says Greg, “When stuff goes wrong and we are 2,000 miles away from home, we know we can count on each other.” Now, with a single being spun at radio, several national tours, and well over one million hits on their MySpace page, By All Means Necessary has laid the foundation for success.
