With heartfelt and gritty lyrics, soaring guitars, a driving rhythm section and a live show that commands attention and participation, Soul Circus embodies Detroit’s rock sound and style.
Beginning in 2006, Soul Circus brought together four seasoned musicians Kevin Kanka (lead vocals), John Massey (bass), Tommy Furbacher (guitars), Ken Thomas (drums) to take the Detroit rock sound across the map.
Soul Circus has been recognized by the rock community and have been included on the biggest events in southeastern michigan such as: Hawaiian Tropic Finals, WRIF Rock Girl Finals at the Emerald Theatre, Harleyfest (which draws over 20,000 people), Arts Beats and Eats Festival in Pontiac and the Warren City Fair. Soul Circus has also joined up with Lane Productions to help them get out of michigan and spread the word throughout.
