After collaborating on hits with Usher, Ice Cube, Ying Yang Twins and a host of others on the release of his second certified double-platinum album, Crunk Juice, Lil Jon is preparing to commence work on his fourth full-length album CRUNK ROCK.
The new album, which is scheduled for release later this year, is Lil Jon’s first venture as a solo artist on TVT. The first single, “Snap Yo Fingers” features E-40 and Sean Paul (Youngbloodz).
As a producer, Lil Jon has become one of the most in-demand beatsmiths in music. He has crafted his signature revolutionary sound from chants and catchy choruses. His consistent hitmaking has earned him legions of fans from Los Angeles to the Midwest to his native region, the South. This is evident as Lil Jon won BMI’s 2005 Songwriter of the Year. He also scored eight Billboard Awards (Rap Song of the Year for “Lovers and Friends”, Hot 100 Single of the Year for “Yeah”, Hot 100 Airplay Single of the Year for “Yeah”, Hot 100 Producer of the Year for “Yeah”, Mainstream Top 40 Single of the Year for “Yeah”, R&B/Hip-Hop Group of the Year 2003, Independent Album of the Year for Kings of Crunk and Independent Artists of the Year 2003), a Grammy (Best Rap/Song Collaboration for “Yeah”), a Radio Music Award (Song of the Year for Hip-Hop/Rhythmic Radio for “Yeah”), a BET Award (Viewer’s Choice for “Yeah”), two MTV Video Music Awards (Best Dance Video and Best Male Video for “Yeah”) and an American Music Award (Best Rap/Hip-hop Band, Duo or Group 2003).
